[EN]The tastes and needs of tourists have changed dramatically, causing suppliers of products and services have big difficulties to distinguish themselves. Tourists are as not satisfied as buying souvenirs as once before, but they seek to improve their skills by taking part in activities. In this context, the mobile workshops of creative tourism offer the possibility of adapting to the needs of the tourists and creating value in any environment. In this End of Master Degree Project I have analysed the evolution of the rural tourism in Spain, the supply and demand of rural tourism, the kind of creative tourism experiences, the key elements and the barriers to creativity. Finally, it has been proposed a business model of creative tourism in a rural area. Keywords: creative tourism, rural tourism, creativity, craft.

I found the abstract to be a compelling exploration of the evolving preferences and demands among modern tourists, and the promising potential for creative tourism to address this shift. I liked the proposal to focus on adapting tourism offerings to foster active skill development and cultural immersion, as this aligns well with broader industry trends and suggests a fruitful avenue for providers to differentiate their products and create meaningful value for visitors.
It is interesting because the abstract acknowledges the “key elements and barriers to creativity” within the research, as a deeper understanding of these factors could yield invaluable guidance for tourism stakeholders seeking to implement successful creative tourism initiatives. Similarly, the suggestion that the proposed business model for creative tourism in rural areas could “revitalize and add value to more remote or underserved areas” is an intriguing proposition worthy of further examination.
In my opinion, the abstract would benefit from a slightly more granular level of detail in certain areas. For instance, elaborating on the specific elements and barriers to creativity identified in the study could strengthen the analysis. Additionally, a more comprehensive assessment of both the potential benefits and potential risks or unintended consequences of the proposed rural creative tourism model would lend greater depth and robustness to the findings.
